Portland Story Theater opens its 5th season with their fall ensemble show, My Favorite Pair. Left and right. Up and down. Soup and sandwich. Day and night. A pair of dice, a pair of aces, a pair to draw two. Mutt and Jeff, Burns and Allen, Abbott and Costello. Yin and Yang. Red high heels! It is certainly true that good things -- or, at least, interesting things -- come in pairs.

regale you with true, personal tales about their favorite pairs.
A pair of brand new penny loafers does unexpected damage to the locker room bully;
a young girl longs for her very own pair of roller skates; a woman gets the red shoes she wanted,
but will she find a way to dance to her own tune?
We are very lucky to have our favorite improv performers: The Tuesday
Group, an ensemble of unlikely performers committed
to creating original theater using improvisational techniques learned from the late Scott Kelman.
For this particular piece, we started with a phrase, "my favorite pair" and a scheduling conflict - only
two of our members were available for every show. Thus, Carlton and Claire, who play a married couple
both on and off stage, became the focus of our investigation. Thank you for joining us on this journey
of discovery through a land called relationship. And remember... always put your best foot forward.
